It is good to hear that he doesnt sit and watch the kids, that was concerning.  Glad to also hear his house is dark and they dont answer the door on halloween.  As far as living by the school, they do not have restrictions once they are off parol.  While they are being watched on parol they are restricted to where they can go and live, but once they are off they are able to go whereever and live whereever.

The watchdog website is the best -- http://www.familywatchdog.us/  When I was first given this information two years ago, I asked our school principal Mr. McCullum how a sex offender could live so close to the school.  He said that the man lived there BEFORE the school was built, and the government cannot MAKE him move, because he was here first.  Teach your children how to be safe and watch out for one another!

Unfortunently, sex offenders are rated based off their threat level.  Although I do not personally agree, only high risk sex offenders are not allowed to live near schools.  Anyone can call Fort Worth Police Dept to find out a sex offenders status and risk level.  I have checked in on this particular individual on Brushy Creek and he is not on the high risk list therefore, he is allowed to live there.

As parents, regardless of what the police dept. may say we must still stay on a heightened awareness and keep our children clear of the sex offenders path.

 I have received word that there is a potential unregistered sex offender on Mystic however, it is currently unconfirmed.  If you live on Mystic between Seguin Trail and Salado, please keep a watchful eye on your child. I cannot disclose the location until , actually confirmed by FWPD Sex Offenders Unit.  They are aware and investigating.

Just ran across this site. The link that you gave for the sex offenders did not show who were talking about, but if you are in Crestwood I know who it is. When we first moved to the neighborhood I pulled his court case. Turns out he was 19ish, and exposed himself to a 15ish year old at a party. I am not saying this is right, but it certainly does not warrant the "hide the women and children" attitude of these post.
