We have put information concerning our web site in many of the newsletters. When we are ready to do the email part, I will make sure that gets posted as well.
If anyone is interested in email updates, please let me or the board know.

I am interested in getting email updates and would suggest that they be limited to "what's new". Links can be provided to take subscribers to more details.
FYI... to get emails for topics on this discussion board, click on the "Your Profile" link to the left and "Edit" your profile. There are links on the top to manage your discussion and mailing list subscriptions.
I think this website is a great way for residents to participate in the community, though I fear it is not quite user friendly enough. I am pretty web savvy and even I dont concider this site to be very intuitive. Also, I get the impression that many (if not most) of our residents do not use the internet. At least not to the extent that they would stay engaged with this site.
I might suggest using flyers and provide residents the option to switch to email updates instead of getting paper on thier door. Perhaps having the opportunity to opt out of getting flyers will motivate more people to participate online/email. |

Also... I just found that this site has only 9 members (out of the ~250 units in our community). We need to find a better way to engage with our residents.
Perhaps we should create a Facebook page for Cobblestone Village. If we have a list of our residents names, perhaps we can even reach out to them (if they have a profile) instead of them trying to find us. |

It has all of 4 members even though it has been available for a long time, probably over a year. I am considering adding something similar to this chat section directly from our web site. I am just wondering what kind of interest there is. |
