Your right, neighbors should not be at odds with one another. However, the CITY should never have changed any plan that was approved by the neighbors, city offices, and parks dept. employees. This was a BIG mistake on their part. They had a responsiblity to check first with all the people in the neighborhood and getting back with the offiers of the association. This was not done to my understanding.
Typical City Deptments; they move on with what they need without checking first with ''all'' of those that are affected by the outcome! Real nice!
Over the years that this parking lot problem has gone on; the city ''said'' they would always be in contact with the neighborhood assoication to keep them informed of things. Didn't happen!
