On Saturday September 10th uur golf cart was ''impounded'' by someone in some type of patrol car that was VERY similar to a Shelby County sherrifs vehicle. There were TWO spotlights on this car and Shelby County has only ONE. This man was also wearing a uniform very similar to Shelby County. Green pants with Kahki shirt. It turns out that he was NOT any type of officer and our golf cart was taken, vandalized and totalled. This is a very scary situation with someone impersonating an officer and has been reported to the authorities. ALWAYS get the officers name and ask for identification. This incident happened at the construction site on Brunswick Road across from Hillman Way. Our golf cart was found abandoned on the corner of Patches and Patricia Ellen sunday morning.
