City of Des Moines SCRUB Days Calendar 2010

    The city of Des Moines has SCRUB Days to provide an opportunity for residents to get rid of junk, debris and yard waste at no cost. The hours for drop-off are 7:00 am to 1:00 pm every third Saturday from March to November.  Go early and be prepared with a photo I.D. or utility bill with a Des Moines address.

Junk & Debris should be taken to: Metro Waste Transfer Station

                                                              4198 Delaware Avenue

Yard Waste should be taken to: Metro Waste Compost Center

                                                          1601 Harriet Street
