Congratulations 2002 Community Pride Award Winners

Congratulations to the following Sherwood Village residents for winning a Community Pride Award for their individual home landscaping contributions. Because of the effort they put in beautifully landscaped homes, Sherwood Village was selected the first place winner in the "Neighborhood Category" of the City of Southfield's annual Community Pride awards Program.

Nominations were received by the city throughout June and July, and a panel of judges surveyed all nominated properities and made the selection of winners in August. Criteria included overall maintenance and use of color, flowers and shrubbery. All winners will be honored at a special awards ceremony at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, October 28, in the City Council Chambers
