How do you feel about changing the paint color of the mailboxes, light post, gates etc. to a BLACK color. It has been tossed around at the board meetings. Let us know what you think. The gates are in need of painting and before we paint these it would be a good time to change.

One thing about paint,

is that you can always paint over it if it doesn't work out. What's the plan for doing this? Is BHOA going to provide the labor and materials to do this? It seems that it would have to be that way to ensure a ''uniform'' black.

paint change

I am not sure of the best way to handle it would be, perhaps mandate a certain paint color and brand of paint to use. I don't know if the association could pay for all of the mailboxes and lights that are privately owned, it would be quite expensive. For a nominal fee we could probably arrange for it to be painted if you did not want to do it yourself! At this point we are in discussion phase waiting for the response of the homeowners before trying to move forward with this! Ask you neighbors and see what there response is, the more input the better!
No Way

This would just be a hassle, be expensive, be bothersome, and a lot of people wouldn't do it. All it would be is trouble.
