Every year a guy come's around to paint house number's on the curb. He first start's off by saying that he is paid by the neighborhood association and it is at no cost to the home owner.
Then he say's that he will accept a ten dollar donation. Okay, great. If you give him ten dollars he will paint your house number number on the curb in front of your house.
But, if you don't give him ten dollar's he will not. Now, if the neighborhood association is paying him to do so as he said's, why does he not paint every house number's on the curb. He only paint's those that give him ten dollar's. Why is the neighbrood association paying this guy if he only paint's for those who give him money?
If he is being paid, he should just go and paint all house number's and then ask if the homeowner would like to donate to him.
