Thank you for joining us on the Internet. RTD welcomes your visits to our website at www.RTD-Denver.com where you will find route and schedule information, news of upcoming events, employment opportunities, etc. This also provides a good channel for customer commendations or complaints.

If you have specific comments or suggestions for the routes and schedules in your neighborhood, please feel welcome to send me e-mail at rr10896@rtd-denver.com. We do not have a fancy system here, but I will try to respond to your notes as soon as possible.

Right now, we have been asked to look into the feasibility of a North Denver circulator route. This would likely replace Rte 50 as it now exists in the Sloan's Lake community. If you are interested in more details, post a note here, and I will post information as it

becomes available. Where would you like a North Denver circulator to go? - rwr -

RTD Public Meetings

RTD will hold public meetings on proposed service changes in Denver. Sloan's Lake lines affected include: Rtes 28, 32, and 50. Changes on Rtes 28 and 32 would be minor. Rte 50 is proposed to be restructured in conjunction with planning for the new Denver Social Services office at Federal Blvd/12th Avenue.

Changes affecting North and West Denver will be emphasized in the following meetings:

GAO Juanita Nolasco Homes, Inc. -- 4550 W. Ninth Avenue. -- Monday, February 2,

1998 at 7:00 p.m.

North High School - Alumni Center - Thursday, February 6, 1998 at 7:00 p.m.

Additional meetings will be held in Downtown Denver and in Boulder. More information on the meetings can be obtained by calling the RTD Customer Service line and asking for a copy of the new brochure: "Proposed May 1998 Service Changes" or by posting a

message here for my response. The brochures will be available on board RTD buses, as well.

Route 50 circulator suggestions

It would be very helpful to have a circulator that connected the West Colfax and Villa Park neighoborhoods to Lake Middle School. This would be very helpful in the winter months.

In addition, perhaps this circulator could assist seniors in the area with shopping chores at local neighborhood shopping areas, like 20th and Sheridan Blvd.
