Glad to see your posting! I just posted, seeking people who want to help others find work. I am in Houston. Over the last year I have helped people I know find work. I decided I want to do the same for other people. This is what I do for Free.
I am self employed as a virtual assistant and I do custom Gift Baskets. I had to give up my office last year and work from home. I am looking for ways to improve and move forward.
I also am seeking all the online assistance I can get to help people find work. My community site is www.neighborhoodlink.com/Work_For_Life_Brigade/home.

Bea, Working from home is almost becoming the norm for most self-employed professionals, especially for virtual assistants. I, too, offered administrative support, accounting and marketing service offerings to non-traditonal business owners. If I may ask, what online assistance have you (are seeking) to move forward in you business endeavor? I recently joined my community site and found it to be inactive. However, I'm optimistic to see more activity in the near future.
Please let me know if I can be of assistance to you in moving you forward by contacting me at http://vyriece-adminsolutions.com by sending me a short note.
Yes, building a community of small business owners is a way up and out in securing jobs for others.
