Smoky Ridge

First of all, thanks to everyone who put in alot of hard work to make the picnic happen. It was nice, but last year was wonderful,(maybe because we won a prize at a nice Restaurant)!!!

The food was not good, and the people that were serving it, you could tell, did not want to be there. So maybe some changes on the food for next year!!!

It was very sad to NOT see neighbors enjoying each other's company. We watched the people for a while, and no-one wanted to interact with anyone. We saw some people come, pick up their food and leave. How sad. When you live so close, to not want to visit and enjoy the company!!

Thanks again to everyone who did participate and tried to make the picnic a good one.

2005 Picnic

I would like to say that I was extremely pleased with food at the picnic this year. I think it was especially nice to have the hot dog option.

Certainly not to sound argumentative, but I also found that there was a much higher level of participation this year than in the previous years. In prior years it was almost exclusively the kids who were involved. This year, with the old-fashioned games, there was a much higher level of participation by adults.

Of course the kids were thrilled with all of the activities that were there for them (far more than ever before).

The picnic team outdid themselves this year and are going to have a hard time topping this event!
