We've been hit recently by scams operators that use teenagers to do their dirty work.
The one that happened last weekend involved well-coached teens who introduce themselves as trying to raise money so they can get a start in business... yadda, yadda, yadda.
I actually had 2 teens come to my house with the same pitch; they introduce themselves and won't respond to questions--they just go through the pitch. Really pushy.
The SAPD say to immediately call them when the teens come to the neighborhood.
Unfortunately, these kids are pawns for ringleaders. But the HOA won't stop the scams so it's up to us to take action.
