Sonoma Ranch

IS AN ATTORNEY NEEDED?.

Posted in: Sonoma Ranch
name of attorney

that depends on your definition of community. sonoma ranch (the summit, the enclave, the meadows, the springs, the hills, the reserve) does not have an attorney.

the only attorney involved in the rezoning case is/was the attorney hired by the arbor hoa(**for arbor residents**) Buck Benson. he may or may not be representing the arbor hoa at this time.

the seale family has brown pc to represent them.

stopping the development is the goal of some and negotiating with the seale family through brown pc is the goal of others. check out www.hausmanunited.org and look at the issues here:

and legal docs here:

as i've said publicly at the sr hoa board of directors meeting in january and at the zoning commission hearing, i say **NO** because i have yet to hear how any kind of rezoning change and subsequent development at the proposed sites will help maintain the quality of life i enjoy now.

so far, the developer(brown pc) is not willing to negotiate. a group composed of sonoma ranchers, arbor-ists and hausman united community members are drafting proposals. a 30 day continuance was granted and another hearing will be held april 3 at the zoning commission. as always, all are welcomed to attend.

as for them respecting our wishes, it is rather difficult to stand in the face of $40 million, the speculation on the lands combined value.

again, there is **NO** attorney representing sonoma ranch. hence the reason for my posting advocating that sr hoa/procomm hire one for sonoma ranch hoa.

Atty needed??

Would this be a conflict of interest for our HOA member. Richard Kruegler???
My biggest objection to the rezoning was the Apartments, they are trying to build in our neighborhood. The zoning comm seems to be ready to ok that part of the request from the beginning.
So far there are only three of us even talking on this site.
an atty is needed....but who????

i think there would be a conflict. someone needs to get paid for their time and efforts. but to me, richard kruegler has been impartial on the issues and has been very careful to identify himself and make the necessary disclosures when he has spoken. i'm satisfied with how he has been as a board member and fellow homeowner. also, it helps to realize the unique situation he is in each.

there are farther reaching issues such as: water, schools, decreased/decreasing property values, traffic and quality of life to nname a few.

there are many who read the link but choose not to post.
