I had a question about the large mound of dirt located across from steak n' shake. Its been sitting there with nothing done with it for a while now, Ive asked local police and park rangers.

Theres no tresspassing signs, only a no dumping sign. We live in Pawnee ridge and several of us ride quads in the winter and after plowing the poorly cleared streets in southern dunes we would like to cut loose and go riding.

Ive left a few messages with no call back.

If anyone can direct me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

Go to www.southerndunesgolfcourse.com  They are using the dirt to fill in a lake behind the club house.  BTW, I saw quads out there just the other day.

R N Thompson has a 180 day permit from the city dated 04/30/2008 for the dirt pile. They told the city the pile was for an interchange for I69 at Kentucky Avenue to get the permit; they told the residents that and that the dirt pile was for leveling out that 100 acre field to sell it to Wal-Mart and then it was to be sold to Target. No one knows the truth since RN Thompson cannot seem to stick to one story for more than one tell at a time.
