Southern Dunes Home Owners Association

My neighbor plays his music, television, and gaming consoles at levels that can be heard through my living room wall at all hours of the night.  In confronting the neighbor in the past I have gotten the response that it was not loud and they didn't know what the problem was.  Thus, I don't feel confronting them will be of any use.  Anyone have suggestions or members of the board that could recommend some appropriate steps short of beating on their door each evening or blaring music back to show my disgust?  Thanks

I would call the police.  Is he renting or the homeowner?  Not that it makes any difference but if he is renting you may contact the landlord.  I lived in apartments for many many years and always had this type of problem.  In a home?  Not yet.  However my neighbors are all cordial and quite.  If nothing else I may be the loud one.
