Thought this info might be helpful to some. You know the TV Commercial where the little kid throws a game remote through his dad's nice big TV and it breaks that everyone thinks is funny? Ya, well that actually happened at my house a few weeks back (that commercial isn't nearly as funny anymore 
)
I called around trying to find a place to dispose of the TV correctly since you aren't supposed to be putting items like Plasma or LCDs in the regular garbage.
Circuit City will take possession of all Plasma or LCD TVs at any of their stores free of charge (you do have to bring it to them though). They then have a 3rd party come in and dispose of the electronics correctly to do the least harm to the environment.
I thought it was good information that I should pass on. Hope it helps someone else out there.
