I was out walking this morning and saw an IMPD officer at a house on Copper Grove Dr. by the big lake. On myu second time around the addition he was leaving and stopped and was talking to me. He saw my fire department hat and wanted me to pass along this info.
Last night at the residence I mentioned in the early hours. A younger possibly Hispanic male attempted to break into the residence through the front door. The home owner scared him away. He sped off in a possible dark metallic blue suburban or similar vehicle. Be on the look out for anyone like this, report it to IMPD. Try to obtain a license number but be leery of approaching anyone like this.
