Southmoor Park East

It is unacceptable that home owners in Southmoor Park East are unable to acquire DSL or Cable Broadband. At least I am unable to do so because QWEST has not improved its equipment to enable DSL at my location. Am I alone is this? Are there others who want broadband connectivity and can't get it due to QWEST's intransigence on the matter? What can we do as a group to change this?

Neghbrhod Digital Divide Deepens

This is not a reply but an extension of my 16 Nov 2000 post. Today's ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS discusses the neighborhood digital divides and the culpability of Qwuest and others in maintaining the divide by their own inaction. If we in Southmood Park East want to close the broadband divide in our neighborhood we need to make our voices heard. Contact each other, our neighborhood Coun cilwoman, our association officers, and Qwest spokeswoman Jane Morrissey. If we want change we need to let our voices be heard.

Where's the plan

Just as we expect our civic and business leaders to create and implement viable plans for transportation, education, and healthcare (issues affecting EVERY citizen) we should now expect to see the thoughtful planning for our digital connectivity. Certainly Southmoor Park East needs that but more so the entire Front Range.
