Carmel Clay Fire Department Emergency Medical Services and the Carmel Police Department for assistance with animal bites.

The City of Carmel's Leash Law prohibits unleashed animals to roam. For more information or to report a violation, contact the Carmel Police Department.

The Carmel Police Department strictly enforces the city's vicious dog ordinance. The Police Department has three animal control officers who respond to vicious dog complaints. For more information or to summon an animal control officer, call the Carmel Police Department.

Local ordinance requires that no person shall allow a dog to disturb neighbors with frequent or habitual barking. For more information, contact the Carmel Police Department.
