It is two days after the storm. Does anyone know the condition of the neighborhood? Any Flooding or Destruction from Storm Surge?
Electric? Water?
Thanks.

Much destruction
I live at 401 Inverness Ct. A neighbor told me that my house has mud in it. The houses south of my house on Tantallon have been destroyed or gutted. My neighbors to the east had 1 to 3 feet of mud inside. Also, the water tower is down. |

Update
I heard that neighbors who stayed estimate waves as high as 30 feet came in. People are running out of supplies and gas. Relief lines last for hours. People are walking around completely homeless and have nothing but the clothes on their backs. The closest water relief location is the OS middle school, but many people don't have cars or gas to get there. Things are expected to improve some today. |

Aerial shots available
Aerial shots of most coastal neighborhoods on the gulf coast are now available on www.wwltv.com. Click on aerial shots by zip code or by map. I was able to view Saint Andrews. It appeared that some houses along the marsh were destroyed. Most other homes appeared to be intact but may have experienced some flood damage. |
