P.S. The motions we came up with at last Thursdays meeting have been written. Tomorrow they will be typed up and distributed to the 25 for their review and comment. We then will collect all of the comments and retype and redistribute for one last edit by the 25. After that the motions will be incorporated into a position paper complete with some words from me and the committee. It is then that we shall go forth into the nethermost regions of North Shore to spread the word. Here's hoping we see you all real soon!

Paul Revere

Like Paul Revere and the historic Committee of Correspondence, the first draft by the Committee of 25 will be heading out over the highways and byways of our very own Hampton Roads.

Like those thrilling days of our founding mothers and fathers we are forging ahead with this great work. The first draft of our motions will be distributed today.

I like to think of our meeting on Thursday, August 17, as our First Continental Congress where thirteen struggling colonies came together. It was said that, for the first time, it was like thirteen separate clocks all striking the hour at the same moment. Thrilling stuff.

I will, as always, keep you posted! Remember, its one if by day, and two if by night.

One Light by Day

Last night, one light was hoisted up into the bell tower. Sooooo, this morning I grabbed my trusty steed and off I rode. First over to Lexington Green then down the road over the bridge to Concord. Keeping just ahead of the bloody lobsterbacks. By the time my appointed rounds were completed the entire Committee of 25 had been notified and the motions were safely delivered. And, this time the Brittish did not capture me. Who am I?
