mj, I could not agree with you more. That is why I have worked for 2 years on the Hoilday House Tour and want to start a garden tour. I have been around Steve Lange long enough to know that the need for fun is unfortuntely lost on him. I wonder if the guy even knows what it means. In my old association whenever we did our annual spring clean up of the common grounds we provided lunch for all who showed. It was a picnic preceeded by some needed work. The turnout was great. By contrast, to volunteer here is to spend a day at Boot Camp. I also agree that if that attitude is changed the interest in membership will increase. I hope you shall soon see "fun" become an integral part of our collective lexicon.
