Hey Steve,
The excuse about leaving the other set of glasses at home is great. I give it a A++++++!!!! BUT, the outcome and impact was the same, RUDENESS!!! My mom taught me that gentlemen should remove their caps/hats indoors. As for the dark glasses I like to see peoples eyes when they are addressing me. When I can't see the eyes it makes me think they tell a bigger story than what is leaving the mouth. Hummmm....what did your parents teach you Steve??
