Yes, Mr. Lange cares a great deal about the neighborhood. However, his ''demeanor'' does affect his effectiveness when it alienates others working in a volunteer organization on committees, the board, and with City staff.

As to the flaming of people it IS bad form- whether it is done anonymously or with a signature.
