Councilmember Virginia Littrell and HONNA resident Jason Sullivan have set up a meeting to coordinate neighborhood monitoring efforts due to the mugger who has been striking in the Old NE. The meeting will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, March 5 at 7:00 pm at City Hall in Room 100, which is to the left as you enter the front door.
Jason is the resident who chased the mugger last week and helped retrieve the belongings of an older lady on Locust Street near 9th Ave. He is preparing a flyer to be distributed throughout the neighborhood and the purpose of the meeting is to coordinate those who want to join the effort. A representative of the Police Department will be present to answer questions.
