Rezoning Issue Could Affect CHN

Posted in: Crescent Heights
Are Crescent Heights residents aware that a national drugstore chain, CVS, has requested rezoning of property more than 1/2 block deep between 9th and 8th Avenues North and 3rd and 4th Street? If approved by the City Council on June 15, a precedent will be established to allow commercial properties along the 4th Street corridor to encroach into your residential neighborhood 250 feet!
While the current proposed project may not affect your neighborhood, future projects may if this proposal is approved. If you are concerned, e-mail me, rebillot@gte.net, or call, 727 825-0751, and I can fill you in and tell you what you can do to oppose the rezoning. Time is of the essence--the City Council reviews the application on June 15! Susan Rebillot, North Shore Neighborhood Association Member

we could use your help

Susan's above remarks are accurate.

The developer surprised our association with this and perhaps purposely, left us with little time for full neighborhood input.

Now we are facing a very significant encroachment into our residential area.

We could use the help of any residents in your area who do not want to see this happen in their area.

Please feel free to contact me at my email address should you have any questions.
