I couldn't attend this month's meeting for the garden club, but I'd like to know any news about it. Also, when and where the next meeting is. Thanks.
It was a happening!

Sorry you couldn't come. We had a good second meeting. Some people volunteered for heads of commitees. We are keeping it simple. A director, secretary, librarian, and special projects. We talked about roses and had a Q&A about problems people are having.
As hosts we had muffins and cake along with drinks. We also gave away eucyliptus cuttings, 20 iris pups and a free pansy plant for all who came. The most fun in a garden club is ''grow and share''. That's where people share what they have.
I also anounced that I have taken the project of landscaping the big sign on the 5th Ave exit.

3rd Meeting?

Does this mean there will be a 3rd meeting?? If so, when and where? I don't have much ''new growth'' to share since I started with no landscaping at all but I would love to attend.

Speaking of landscaping....maybe we could organize a group to collectively trim back all the city corners in our neighborhood? They're looking a little on the sad side. I'll volunteer. I've been considering starting this project but I don't want any neighbors thinking I'm a fruitloop who got carried away with the trimming sheers!!!

Yes!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, I got rushed and forgot. The third meeting will be March 17th at Greg's house at 2636-2nd ave north. at 10:00am. See you there!
As for your project, the corners have been brought up and could be our first project as a group.
