Does anyone have some insights into the mayoral race? We'd really appreciate some info from those who know more about some of the candidates than we do (who to completely avoid and who to consider!).

Also, what about reliable, honest mechanics in the area...?
election

Hi Cindy,

As far as a mechanic in the area, I cannot help you. I hav3e been going to the same mechanic for 20 years but he is in Largo.

As far as the scoop goes for our next Mayor, it seems to be the general consensus(in this neighborhood) that Karl Nurse is the guy to vote for. Karl lives over in old Southeast and has some of the same problems that we do here in Kenwood. In my opinion that
is what we need at this time in the development of our neighborhood. Some on who understands the problems of a turning neighborhood and how to address the problems that come with the revitalization.

This is MHO and I am sure differs with others on this list. Maybe we could hear from some others on this topic?

where to look

Are there websites that let you find out about the candidates??? The Times said there were as many as 10 candidates now. There should be someway to find out how they feel about the issues that concern us. Any ideas where to look?????

My support is going to Karl Nurse for mayor. Come to the candadites forum at SoHo gallery wed. night(Feb.7). It starts early at 5:30p.m. but come later. The issue is Central Ave. and what they will do for it. No side or pet issues. I think we'll all learn a lot. Our neighborhood is closly tied to the revitalization of this area.
