After reading all the latests (haven't visited for a bit), I'm almost afraid to post here! Please, pull in the claws!
My purpose is to inform you that on Thurs. a.m. about 2:10, my dog barked, causing me to go down and see what was up. The other dog also barked, which is very unusual. Low and behold, a person was standing behind my husband's van. I got my phone and called the police. As I was talking, he was moving on to each vehicle, checking the doors. It wasn't until 2:25 that the police cruiser drove down the street with his lights off. Too late, of course. BUT, there is a pattern here. Last week, at the same time of morning, between 2 and 2:30, someone set off the alarm on my husbands truck, and of course, took off quickly! Also, whenever my dog has awakened me in the middle of the night, it is usually around that same time. I'm in the 2100 block of 2nd Ave. N. Anyone in this neighborhood should be sure to lock their vehicle and use your alarm or whatever other kind of security you might have. And, if you happen to be up around that time, take a peek out your window when you here dogs go balistic - there is usually a good reason. Our neighbor has had his car broken into more than once. I was just mad that the dogs in the neighborhood were barking, instead of remembering to check out WHY they were barking.
I hope this post hasn't offended anyone in any way, shape or form. I'm just wanting to alert my neighbors. With so many car thefts and break ins, maybe this person can be caught. And, it was only one person that I saw. No description, as it was, well, dark out.
OK. He/she was thin to average build, adult size. That's all I know.
