Rehabs spreading west?

Posted in: Historic Kenwood
Hi,

I am looking for a house in central St. Pete and have found one in Central Oak Park around Burlington and 35th St. that I like. However, I am concerned about proximity to 34th St. as it relates to crime, as well as property values. Is the Central Oak Park area a good investment at this time? Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I can't afford Kenwood at this point.
I believe so.

All the things happening on Central Ave. can only help all the surrounding neighborhoods. For example, just think how close you'll be to the new YMCA. Your in an area that is close to downtown and minutes from the beach. Your also only 15 blocks from the interstate. I believe it can only go up for you.
