teens or drug dealers

Bill are you talking about the drug dealers or the obnoxious teens? I'll check it out. Do you know if this drug march was approved by the board or is the city just using us.

Some say they are one in the same. Again I will say, I don't know. I would hope we will not be marching at ''obnoxious teens'', but rather something more.
Since the march was announced at the meeing, the board knows about the march. As to who contacted who and when, again I don't know. You can call the president or a board member, or come and ask at the march.
The city would rather not,I guess, be doing these marches at all. So, I'm not sure how they could be using us.

You don't seem them cause

This past weekend they were off the streets and the CPO does know they are there i live on 3rd and I see them every day but thats while you are working so are they. What was said at the meeting was all true and there is more but it wasn't brought up! I am home when they are out dealing and don't worry the police know what is going on in the hood! The crime watch was set up to assist the police and the city in cleaning up our neighborhood It will take more than a few folks to do anything I watched a deal yesterday happen in front of a house on 3rd ave north I passed along the tag numbers of the cars and what they were doing and yes they were black! I wonder where you were two months ago when they were selling Or how about 6 yrs ago when they were selling on the corner of 24th and 3rd. Green thumbs

Talk to me!I was told that Sandy the Pres of kenwood asked for help from the city because many folks were tired of the kids selling drugs so this is the reason why they wanted to start a crime watch, and go back to the drug marches. The police has its own reason for doing what they do, but I believe if a group of neighbors can get together and form a load voice they will assist us. I heard the (Crime watch guy) has approached the city on many points from trash, to codes, to drugs, and anything that the folks of Kenwood would like to see corrected asking for help in cleaning up the neighorhood. But he is one person and he needs input from folks like you to make this a better place to live. I've lived in Kenwood before the pretty signs, the plants on some corners, and the homes being fixed up. I've seen drugs being sold on the corners of 24th & 3rd, 23rd & 3rd, 22nd & 3rd for yrs. I saw what a house looks like after it was fire bombed down the street from my house. What I see now is neighbors talking to each other instead of hiding behind the door. Its just another step forward in making Kenwood the best place to live! But we need help to do so. Green thumbs
