City Codes, Maureen Barnes, provided this update today. Hazelton has until Feb. 28 to dry-in the project, get the roof on, complete all mandated repairs, get all windows and doors in, and have all inspections completed or their stipulated agreement will not be met, and the permits will be revoked. The project will then go to demolition.

followup
Thank for you this information. I hope that the NSNA will urge the city to demo this project if the terms are not met. Perhaps a letter from the board urging the city NOT to enter another agreement with the property owners would be helpful. This project has been a disaster for those of us on the south end of the neighborhood for too long. Thank you for all you have done to date. By SLJ |

Followup
We will followup on this, and if the stipulated agreement is not met by Feb. 28, we will be requesting demo. Thanks. |

A Sham
This project is a sham and I am glad to hear that the association is staying informed about it. I would hope that anything that can be done to prevent it from ever being completed will be pursued. I cannot understand why it has been permitted to proceed this far by the City. The new neighborhood plan could go a long way to preventing such problems in the future. By SLJ |
