Your recent posting to me that I have it all wrong, and that I should change my ways got me to thinking. So, I went back and read all of the postings from the beginning of this fiasco focusing on a few folks like you, Greg and Jackie, among others.

Everything written about me by you guys was either directly hostile or veiled statements written in a couched manner to give appearance of being nice. When it was always quite clear what your (and I mean all of you in this instance) true meanings were. You guys called me names, said I did all sorts of underhanded stuff, that I was this and that. Its all there. Go back and read it.

Remember, I never posted until August 2. You guys have been pounding on me since right after the May 8th board meeting. For over three months you guys had at me. I never so much as said a word to you all. Three months!!!!! You think that nice folks like you guys would have quit after a while. But nope. Without any objection or opposition by me you kept on. Well, now that I have figured out this machine of mine, I ain't quittin nottin. So I have been writing for 29 days. You guys have been writing about me for about 114 days.

Go back and read your own postings. You and your friends wrote on this web site about stopping, denying and preventing the zoning change. Not until after the City Council vote did you all take a turn of expression and then try to convince us all that you were really for the project but just not allowing it to come back so far. You can't hide from your own words, unless you again pressure Claude to delete these postings as well.

Susan, don't ask, don't pressure me. Take your ''perspective'' and your persuation elsewhere. It doesn't play well here in this house!

Thanks, but I really am not sufficiently qualified to be President at this time. I hope to continue to serve on the Board, would like to be elected to serve in 2001, and hope to gain a lot of experience working on committees and learning about the interface between the NSNA and the City. It's been a great experience so far inspite of the recent conflicts and tensions. I've met many great, positive, people with class and dedication to the neighborhood. I hope that the NSNA members will rally, don't drop out of the process due to the unpleasantness, observe the conduct of members of the Board over time. Do the research. Are peoples' actions about the best interest of the NSNA? Draw your own conclusions. Support the Board in repairing the divide. Thanks.
