A woman in a clunker was seen on May 3rd stopping in an alley off Cherry Street with her trunk open and what looked to be a small sapling inside. Later it was noticed that two concrete planters in the alley where she was are now missing. Coincidence? Watch for a scruffy older woman driving a beat up old car, especially if she is driving through your alley.

Turns out the planters had been taken unbeknownst to the homeowners -- but that was okay (long story). Nevertheless, there still are folks roaming the alleys checking out the garbage bins and who knows what else. Doesn't hurt to keep your eyes peeled for overly enthusiastic trash collectors.
