Car Burglar Caught !

Our Community Police Officer, Jacques LaMonde, has informed us that the police have apprehended the individual they believe to be responsible for most of the car burglaries in North Shore over the last several months. This is great news !

However, Jacques would like to remind all residents to lock their vehicles at all times, to never leave valuables in vehicles, and to use a steering wheel locking device if your vehicle is parked on the street or an open garage.

DOGS TO BE ON LEASHES !

City ordinance requires that all dogs be on leashes at all times.

Dog complaints are numerous in the neighborhood and include:
-two dogs running loose on a regular basis in the center of the neighborhood
-dogs running loose in North Shore Park on a daily basis, although accompanied by their owners.... please remember that this is NOT legal

The police need to spend their time solving our theft, drug, prostitution, and other serious crime problems. Let us all make their job easier by adhering to animal ordinances so that they can spend their time protecting us from more serious crimes.
