Rumors are all over the place that
most of the board of directors is going to resign.

I have heard that one member resigned over the drugstore thing after she became disgusted with the boards way of handling it.

I also just heard that the President has resigned but that little of the current board turmoil is her fault. She seems like a lovely person at general meetings.

Does anyone know what is going on ?

No, I do not know for sure what is going on but I have heard the same rumors.

I have also heard that there is conflict of interest going on all over the place about this drugstore thing and that the president resigned in disgust like the other board member.

It would be nice to know what is for sure going on.

I have been around this neighborhood long enough to have a good guess as to what perhaps is going on with the Board.
Year after year, well meaning individuals attempt to serve on the board, only to be discouraged. There is one individual who dominates the process, as well meaning as he may be. However, this results in the continual and hardly surprising resignation of board members, year after year. It may be unusual for a president to resign, but if you check your facts, I think you find that many previous board member have resigned in the past. The whole situation is rather sad, as volunteerism should be a rewarding experience.
