Today, I met with Treasurer Jim O'Donnell and performed a thorough review of the NSNA Treasury. We are now a relatively large association dealing with large amounts of income and large expenditures. We had nearly 40,000.00 in income last year and 37,000.00 in expenditures. We currently have 10,000.00 in a CD, which will be rolled over next month. I reviewed the income and expenditures line by line and reviewed bank statements. Twice yearly during my term, I will ask for a few volunteers from the membership to form an Audit Committee to meet with Jim to review the Treasury. Due to Jim's excellent record-keeping, the Board will be able to evaluate past income and expenditures and very conciously plan for expenditures this year. Treasury Reports are provided at each Board and General Membership Meeting, and copies can be requested from Jim.
thanks

Mr. O'Donnell seems to have done a super job doing the tedious and demanding job of treasurer for several years. We all owe him a big THANKS for his professionalism and also for being so amiable at meetings. NS is lucky to have him.
