Things To Do To Stop CVS

Posted in: Historic Old Northeast
Visit the website, http//:web.tampabay.rr.com/stopcvs/
Then, write a letter to the City Council and Mayor Fischer stating your objection to Rezoning Case # ZO-74. The above-mentioned website provides a good guide for stating your rationale for objecting to the rezoning. Get your letters to the Council prior to the June 15 Council Meeting!!
Call Rick MacAuley or Dave Goodwin, 893-7153, and state your objection.
Attend the June 12 NSNA Board Meeting, 1100 Northshore Dr. N.E., 6:00 p.m.
Attend the June 13 Special Meeting of the NSNA, 6:30 p.m., The Sunshine Center
Talk to your neighbors; call Mark Woodley to request a STOP CVS sign for your yard (894-5028). Susan

thanks for points

Thank you for pointing these things out. I would like to add: try to contact friends you might have in other, nearby neighborhoods. If a precedent is set with this rezoning then Crescent Lake, Uptown and all neighborhoods along 4th Street face
possible intrusions, too! We need their support in opposing neighborhood intrusion by commercial projects.

Great suggestion!

GREAT point!!! We are going to deliver copies of our letter to the City Council re: rezoning application to the boards of Uptown and Crescent Lake neighborhood associations! Susan and John
