Chat Non-Event

If you read the hit report on this site it reads 108 at this time. That means that only a few people are reading or writing on this site because each time you go to the site it is a hit on the site and each time you go from place to the other on the page it is hit on the homepage.
The high number of hits on the discussion area shows only that a few people are flipping around in that area. Each read registers as a hit.

I thought the recording of the number of hits on this chat line where kept under the Discussion heading on the North Shore Hit Report.

Last night at 1:00 A.M. when I signed off the count was 1032. Now on Sunday at 3:30 P.M. it reads 1366. Thats about 330 hits in about fourteen hours!

Since most people probably were asleep until seven or eight o'clock this morning and others went to church or breakfast, that leaves about six to eight hours of opportunity time to get on line. Lets say six hours, just for arguement. That means about sixty six hits per hour. Sounds pretty lively to me.

Am I wrong? Will some nice person help me out. And, please remember I am a new student in this business.

hits

it took me nine or ten hits just to read the postings with date Aug 6 by them once, without replying- get it? now if I was goin to read stuff from a few days that would multiply alot and if I was going to look back at a response or make another reply or make a new discussion that would increase the number of hits alot also. so the numbers are deceptive as are the names on many of the replies. it doesn't take a genius to figure it out.

Huh?

So how did you come up with the 108 figure? I don't understand. Is this new wavwe math? Please explain.
