Where are you Steve?

Where did you go Joe Dimagio?

Greg - where did you go? you started out as the peace maker and have let us down. all we can do is quibble senslessly on the chat board. give us direction. or, are you just another board member set to let us down like steverinio?

there have been many, many volunteers over the last several years. they are just not high profile and take satification in the effort instead of public recognition.

Honey, where have you been? Hiding under a rock? Sure there have been many voulnteers. So.
Have you seen the postings about the Landscaping? Has anyone stepped up to do anything about it? Has any of the good and gracious board members stepped up to the task? This board is made up of people who like to take shots at others but really have no desire to do anything constructive. The all but hissed DM's setting up the successful tour of homes. I'm sure they'll follow through with that and I hear they want to do a tour of gardens. How creative. How about a tour of garages next year.
Steve may appear to have been a one man show, but not out of choice. He took leadership in the tasks, and let us not forget that he got others to cooperate in many instances. Look at the groups that would show up for landscaping and the historic distric drive. The fine people who believe Steve drove people off just wanted an excuse not to be involved. The are a group of patetic whinners and the biggest pity is that so may of them have ended up on the board. (Please excuse me, it appears that I have generalized - LL effectively saved Sunken Gardens and, while I opposed city ownership, I thought he did a remarkable job, worked hard at it, with passion, and pervailed. Least I appear to believe SL and DM have been the only ones to spearhead efforts.)
