Remind me ...
What exactly is CONA doing that ''we should be doing?''
Or to ask it a different way, isn't CONA fulfilling its responsibility with respect to the airport?
On the other hand, let's ask what our neighborhood should be / could be doing:
* As individuals, people should go to hearings and contact their elected reps about this topic.
* Identify our interests as a neighborhood vis a vis the airport.
As Joe said in a different note, the most obvious direct impact are overhead flight patterns. I suspect all parts of the neighborhood are not affected equally.
Secondly, how is our neighborhood impacted by each of the proposed alternatives? For example, we might have less neighborhood parking during large events if the airport is used as a park. But we also might philosophically support the continuation of airport operations as a unique and contributing city asset
So, what does anyone else think? And what do people think ''should we doing'' as a neighborhood?
