It has recently been brought to my attention that we have a current member of the Board of Directors that owns a run down, vacant house on 8th Ave that is the sight of many code and building permit violations-boarded up windows, deterioriating roof, yard full of junk, etc. Apparently they live in the neighborhood but do not live in this property. It supposedly has been in this condition for over a year and there appears to be no visible signs of improvement. Is this really the type of individual that we want to represent our neighborhood. I encourage you all to get to know your Board of Directors candidates well prior to the upcoming election and see if they truly are serious about improving the condition of this fine neighborhood. I personally don't feel it is OK to have someone that is comfortable in maintaining their property this way representing this fine neighborhood-how about you?
