You two ought to start a chorus. You do two part harmony well.

Joyce's resignation had nothing to do with me. It had to do with someone that Joyce was going to suggest be considered to fill a vacancy on the board and the three board members told her not to even think about suggesting that person. Now where do standing board members get off thinking that they can do and say stuff like that?

Stay tuned kiddies, because soon I hope, we will be posting the names of those three wonderful board members.

You are reading a bunch of stuff that wasn't said here. If Burton was given info by someone then he should look into it but who says he was trying to ''dig up stuff'' on you? And who said there was a meeting of five board members? Maybe an apology was not in order because the board did not conclude that the ''charges were totally unfounded.'' Your postings have proven that the board error was in not removing you at that meeting and leaving it up to the membership to force them to do it later. If Burton wanted to ''smear'' you he'd of published all these things in the newsletter like you've been asking him to do. This posting of yours makes about as much sense as the ones dating back to ''Start''.

not the whole truth

Joyce did not resign just because of those phone calls. It was an accumulation of things and you know it. Including the fact that you sucked her into meetings with CVS months before even the board was informed and that's not her way of operating.
She wanted an open and honest board and her goals were to increase membership, work on code enforcement, and do a lot of positive things for the neighborhood.

If she says differently now, then her story has changed.
