Readers may wish to read Section VI item 4 of the August 15, 2000 City Team Report--I believe that Claude has posted it on this site. The addresses listed are scheduled for repair reportedly within 12 months. This week, I received an e-mail from a NS resident who was surprised to find repairs about to begin with only 7 days to decide whether to have hexblocks restored or accept a poured sidewalk. She was scrambling to find a less expensive contractor than the City to restore the hexblock. Perhaps someone who has experience with hexblock restoration can respond with helpful suggestions.
