The next City of St. Petersburg Vision 2020 meeting is Wed., May 2, 7:15 at the Sun Pavillion of the Bayfront Center. The topic of the evening is Neighborhoods, Neighborhood Plans, and neighborhood involvement in the development of the City's Comprehensive Plan. This is the fourth Vision 2020 presentation, and if you've missed some, you can turn on Channel 15 and view tapes of the presentations. The presentations have been excellent, and about 300 people have attended each meeting. These weekly meetings will culminate in a weekend-long charette to be held June 1, 2, and 3, times and places to be announced, to develop the plan.
We were given an interesting assignment last Wed.--to go out and photograph what we love about the City and what we dislike. It might be interesting to do this within our neighborhood as part of our process to get your input for the revision of our Neighborhood Plan.
