The Florida DMV can sell your personal information unless you secure your records by activating a block
The DMV is authorized to give out (sell) your personal information to anyone: name, DOB, address, Social Security Number, etc. You can go to the State of Florida website (www.hsmv.state.fl.us) and block the DMV from passing on any of your information. Click on Driver License Check to verify if your driver's license is valid...once that has been verified, you can determine if your license is blocked and if not, you will have the opportunity to block it at that time by following the prompts.
