To forgo a new logo or not

Dear A. Neighbor,

Not to worry about the effort involved. The contest is just one of many ongoing activities and is not a distraction from other efforts.

The idea for a new logo arose last Spring at the same time as the name change proposal but took longer to start. At the time, enough people supported a logo contest that the Board floated the idea.

My own opinion? I agree, I like our current logo. When there's a vote to pick a new one, I expect my vote will be for what we have already. But we'll see, perhaps someone will design something outstanding.
