I would like to request that the homeowners treasurer post the latest financial statement on the web site. I think it should be posted each quarter. Is Mr. Mustard still the treasurer? Why has the financial not been posted? I am entitled to see where my money is going! Does anyone else feel the same?

How I feel

I personally think the SHNA is doing a great job! I have been in contact with some officers the past few months and am pleased with the job they are doing. I am so glad to have the SHNA since we did not have a home owners organization some months ago. We now have regular meetings, they control their meetings (unlike METEX), and seem genuinely interested in making progress toward a better neighborhood. I would be willing to pay higher SHNA dues so that more could be done. And yes, I think we could post the latest financial statement. Lets give our SHNA leadership some support for doing a job many of us wouldn't want to do!

My questions were concerning the financial statement. If you are pleased with the leadership of the homeowners group and the direction they are taking the membership and have their ear, please lobby for an on line newsletter, next meeting announcements, a quarterly posting of the financial statement and well planned activities for the homeowners and their families who pay the dues. To my knowledge, there has been no homeowner activities this year! How much more dues per year do you recommend? And please help us get the creek cleaned up, PRONTO! It's an eye sore! I am aware of the metex boondoggle and I am considering running for a seat on the committee next spring. We think the tax is terrible!
