Diversity

I agree with all your comments Terry. And I'm not just saying that so you'll continue to let me raid your pepper garden. But I don't think anyone can know for sure the right percentage of this or that. I don't think we'll be able to appreciate the mix until several years out. You know how a stew or chili tastes better after it has sat in the fridge for a day or two? This neighborhood is going to age well, and I think a certain amount of diversity will enhance that blend.
Accelerated Aging

I would argue that allowing for some more contemporary styles makes the neighborhood look as if it has been built out over a period of time. Sort of like Mark's house form Wash Park that was relocated and partially rebuilt. BTW, don't tell my wife that I'm writing so many responses in favor of the mix, cuz she hates it.
Sorry, X Man

Sorry, x-man, but I don't agree. I love the diversity and the ''beach''houses. The only reason that they may currently seem out of place,is that there are so few of them. As more are built, I'm sure they will not look so obvious. In fact, we eventually hope to build one of our
own. I have not had the same experiences with visitors/lookers except in the 1st filing, when I was asked what the movie set was for.
