Strawberry Farms

Just want to know what is the latest word on the city completing the traffic calming changes. Haven't seen a civic chatter since may, so wondering what the current info is.

The City of Columbus has repeatedly delayed the traffic calming in Strawberry Farms. The transportation division is sitting on over $500,000 meant specifically for it. They had first planned on 12/04, but reneged. Later planned by 9/05, but still sitting on it. Meanwhile they have scraped unsightly marks throughout, causing not only an unsightly mess, but also causing increased speeds in traffic. Streets are deteriorating, and they are probably waiting for a pedestrian accident to happen. Over the past summer, multiple accidents have occurred, including the totaling of several parked vehicles in the street by cut through speeders. Thank the division of traffic for their lack of concern and broken promises.
